Pastor Rollins returned to the pulpit tonight by beginning a series of sermons on the Beatitudes.
He plans to preach on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, with Margaret continuing on Sunday evenings for awhile.
We are so thankful for his recovery to this point. He went through some difficult and painful times.
Please join us as we "Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow".

| Pastor speaking in the morning service...
I want to give you a brief report. Two weeks ago, I was in my urologist's office and he spotted a growth
in the ureter... All the equipment he had there, he couldn't reach in to touch it. So, he said
I'm scheduling you for emergency surgery... I had the surgery Thursday. He came out and my
daughter and 2 sons were awaiting to hear, he approached them, and he's standing there with sort of a dumbfounded look
on his face, and they didn't know how to interpret that. And my daughter, being the quiet, gentle person
that she is, finally said, "what's wrong with you ?". And he was still standing there with a puzzled look
and finally he said, "I couldn't find anything, there's nothing there". Well, we know what happened, God
took it away before he got there. And so, I'm looking at that as my miracle for this week. And
now I have another test tomorrow morning, one at 8:30 and another at 1:00, I think it is... I do covet
your prayers in these things and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to be back in the pulpit very soon.

| Pastor speaking in the morning service...
I'd like to say just a word. I've been freeloading for a long time. Since December 27th I haven't
been able to preach.
But I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I don't know when it's coming, but it's coming.
I'll be having surgery on the 22nd of this month. And I've still got one other potential surgery in the offing.
And I'll keep you up on these things for two reasons: one, I want you to be aware of what's happening in my life and two,
I want you to be in prayer for me.
For what it's worth, I feel 100% better today than I did last week because today I've got some dates, some things that
are happening. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow morning, another appointment on Tuesday,
and then surgery on the 22nd. And then I've got another little problem hanging and I'm just waiting to hear
from that and I'll pass that word on to you as time goes on.
But, for what it's worth, I'm looking forward to getting Margaret out of this pulpit before it's too late.
But I appreciate Margaret's being willing and able to fill the pulpit in such a marvelous way since I've been gone.
I'm very anxious to be back here myself.

He called the church this morning and spoke to several people,
checking on various aspects of the upcoming services.
